What we collect, and why

We collect two kinds of data, and only these.

Enquiry data

When you send the quote form we receive your name, e-mail address and, if you give them, your telephone number, city, the type of enquiry, the dates you have in mind, the number of guests, an indicative budget, your preferred contact channel, and anything you write in the free-text field. We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and to arrange the charter, purchase, sale or management you asked about.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Site measurement and session recording

If — and only if — you agree in the cookie banner, we load a measurement script from uhnwi.ai. Depending on which categories you accepted it records the pages you view and produces heatmaps, and may record an anonymised replay of your visit so we can see where the site is confusing. Declining costs you nothing: the scripts are never requested and no identifier cookie is written.

Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Server logs

Our web server records the usual technical entries for each request — IP address, time, requested page, browser string — to keep the site running and to detect abuse. These are not used to profile you.

Cookies

Before you choose, this site sets no cookie that is not strictly necessary and contacts no third party. Accepting the "audience measurement" category allows uhnwi.ai to set an identifier cookie (xp_vid) so repeat visits can be recognised. Accepting "session recording" allows the replay script to load. You can change or withdraw either choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which also deletes the cookies already set.

Who else sees it

Enquiry data is handled by our own team and stored in our own customer system. It is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else's marketing. Where a charter or a sale involves a yacht owner, a manager or a captain, we pass on only what is needed to arrange it, and only once you have engaged us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, where they lead to business, for the period required by accounting and anti-money-laundering obligations. Measurement data is kept by uhnwi.ai for the period stated below.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to its use, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to the address below and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the supervisory authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to the enquiry system is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
